Metro Refund Claim allows you to quickly and easily make claims to Nexus for delayed journeys using the Metro system.
If your journey on the Tyne and Wear Metro system is delayed for 15 minutes or more beyond the timetable then you are entitled to make a refund claim.Despite using the Metro most days for the last 4 years, I only discovered recently that it is possible to claim a refund for delayed journeys.
However the claim experience was difficult and time-consuming so the idea of automating the process through an app was born.
Using the drop down and selection menus the App automates the process so you can make your claim in seconds and enable it to be processed faster and more reliably.
Simply input your journey, time and reason for delay and we’ll do the rest.
We calculate the amount you are entitled to, format the information and keep your details in the App to make further claims even quicker.
Although processing time can vary you can expect a response from Nexus within 5 days and a refund, if successful, in 2-4 weeks.
By using this App you agree to only use it to make legitimate refund claims.
